We have strong ties to horses and nature, so it goes without saying that we design our entire company to be environmentally friendly from the ground up. It's not always easy - but we do our best.
Sustainable packaging
We try to avoid plastic packaging right from the purchasing and production stages. This runs through our entire process right up to shipping to you:
- Shipping packaging appropriate to the product
- Paper adhesive tape instead of plastic adhesive tape
- Reduction of outer packaging made of plastic (wherever possible)
CO₂-neutral shipping with DHL-GoGreen
We are happy to be part of the GoGreen project of our shipping service provider DHL and thus offset CO₂ in parcel delivery. This has already enabled us to offset several tons of CO₂ in shipping and support climate projects.
Dispose of returns?
Not with us! 98 % of all returns go back on sale after being checked. Of course, this only happens if they meet our high quality standards and if the goods are genuinely new. 2 % are sold as used or defective at a lower price via partner retailers or donated to charity. Only a very small proportion actually has to be disposed of;
Use offcuts - don't throw anything away if possible
Leather is a great and important natural product. That's why we make sure that as little leather as possible has to be disposed of as offcuts during the production of our articles. We have small items such as our numerous and popular leather feathers and hearts made to recycle leftovers.
CO₂-neutral advertising material
Wherever possible, we have our advertising material produced in a CO₂-neutral way and support climate protection projects.
